Semolina Appe - Rawa Appe
Appam is a type of pancake made with fermented rice batter, rawa battar, curd and coconut milk. It is a common food in the South Indian state of Kerala. It is also popular in Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. It is eaten most frequently for breakfast or dinner.
Sooji Appam
ingredients
1 cup sooji/semolina
1 cup curd
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 finely chopped onion
1 green chilly finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chopped coriander
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Method
Mix rawa/sooji/semolina, curd, salt, onion, chilly, coriander n mix well batter will not so thick make it soft if required use little water
Keep aside for 15min
Add baking soda in the mixture
Heat n Grease appam pan
Add 1 teaspoon batter in each as shown in image
check if u see the color change turn n cook the other side
Ready to eat. serve hot with your fav chutney
Recipe of coconut chutney
(Take 1/2 cup sliced Coconut, some coriander leaves, 4 tablespoons bhuni gram dal, green chilies grind it in mixer
Take 2tablespoons oil, put some mustard seeds, curry leaves n 1 chopped green chilies put it in grinded mixture)
