Mutton Biryani

ingredients:;

Mutton cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone
500 grams
500grams basmati rice cooked
3 onion sliced
4 tomato chopped
1 onion fried in ghee
5 6 tablespoon ghee
4 5 Black cardamoms
Black peppercorns
4 5Green cardamoms
5-6 Cloves
3-4Green chillies slit
1 tablespoon Ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
Biryani  masala (I used everest shahi biryani masala)
1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
Salt to taste
9 10 cashews fried
fresh coriander leaves

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add black cardamoms, black peppercorns, green cardamoms, cloves, green chillies, and mutton and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes.  Now add onion tomato ginger garlic paste and saute well

Add biryani masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green cardamom powder, garam masala powder, and a little salt. 3 cups water and mix well. Cover and cook till 8-10 whistles are given out.

Transfer into a wok add rice on it  cover n cook well garnish with fried cashew, onions n coriander leaves
