Beetroot Dal Rawa Tikki
Ingredients:-
11/2 cup of cooked Dal (leftover)
1/2 cup rawa
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 onion chopped
1 beetroot grated
2 3 green chillies finely chopped
salt as per taste
2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves chopped
1 lemon
1/2 cup cooking oil
Method:-
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok add onion and green chilies n saute well add beetroot in it n saute on low flame till water burn from it
Add leftover dal in it n mix well
Another side in pan roast rawa for minutes
add salt in dal mixture but don't put too much salt in it coz already salt added in leftover dal
Add roasted rawa in it n mix it well rawa will soak the moisture of dal cook it on low flame till u get the mixture thick like upma
Let them cool, add breadcrumbs n coriander leaves lemon juice n mix it well
Heat little oil in pan for shallow fry
rub little oil in your hand n make tikkies n shallow fry all tikkies on low flame as shown in pictures
Take out tikkies in absorbing paper
Serve n garnish with chutney
