Dahi Bhindi

250gm bhindi/Okra
1 cup curd
1 teaspoon gram flour
1 medium onion chopped
2 dry chilly broken into 2 pieces
4 5 curry leaves
1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 pinch turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 cup water
6 tablespoons cooking oil
1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

Wash n dry bhindi, remove or discard head n cut it into 1/2 inche thick circles

Add 4tablespoon oil in a wok, add bhindi in heated oil n shallow fry over medium flame for 8 to10 minutes until they shrink n dark green (stir in between) now transfer bhindi to a plate

Beat curd n gram flour  with 1/2 cup of water until smooth

Heat remaining 2tablespoons oil in same wok or u can use other wok also,  add cumin seeds and mustard seeds when the seeds begin to crackle, add onion, curry leaves n dry red chillies. Saute until onion  turns right brown

Add beaten curd mixture, coriander powder, turmeric powder n salt. cook gravy for 2mins on low flame

Add shallow fried bhindi n cook it for 4 5minutes

Switch off gas n serve hot in serving bowl
