Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed mushrooms is a dish prepared using mushrooms as its primary ingredient. Mushrooms marinated in curd, gramflour, breadcrumb and SPICES and the dish is typically baked or broiled. It can be served hot or at room temperature, and is sometimes served cold. The dish can have a meaty texture, and serves as an starter, side dish or snack.
Ingredients:-
10nos Large size button mushrooms (peel n remove stem)
FOR STUFFING:-
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons finely chopped capsicum
2 tablespoons finely chopped mushrooms stem
1 finely chopped green chilli
Salt as per taste
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
1 bread slice breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
1 cheese cube grated
FOR MARINATION:-
3 tablespoons fresh curd
1 tablespoon gramflour
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
2 pinch turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon mango powder
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
2 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
FOR GARNISHING:-
Coriander leaves for garnishing
1 grated cheese cube
Method:-
Prepared stuffing
Heat 1 tablespoon oil saute onion for minute on high flame.
Add capsicum and mushrooms stem n saute for minute on low flame.
Add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder, saute for minute on low flame.
Add bread crumbs, coriander leaves and grated cheese keep mixing and switch off the flame. Let it cool down.
Marinate Mushrooms:-
Add curd, gramflour, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder coriander powder, mango powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and cumin powder. Mix all the ingredients well.
Marinate mushrooms in it for 10minutes.
Now feel stuffing in mushrooms n keep aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil on pan, first cook stuffed side on slow gas low flame for 7minutes.
Flip n cook mushrooms for another 5 to 7minutes.
Transfer it in plate n garnish grated cheese n coriander leaves.
Serve as a starter, snack or side dish.
