Coconut Chutney

Coconut chutney is a South Indian chutney-side-dish and condiment, a common in South Indian states. The condiment is made with coconut pulp ground with other ingredients such as tamarind, green chillies and coriander. 

Ingredients:-

1 cup chopped coconut
1&1/2 cups coriander leaves
1/3 cup chana dal
5 green chillies
Salt to taste

Tempering

1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
2 tablespoons cooking oil

Method:-

Grind all the ingredients into fine paste. Transfer it to a bowl.

Heat oil crackle mustard seeds n curry leaves and pour in coconut chutney.

Coconut Chutney is ready to serve.

Serve this chutney with idli, dosa, appam etc.
