Raw Banana Sabzi - kachche kele ki sabzi

Raw bananas are a brilliant, healthier substitute to potatoes in any recipe. This sabzi is made by sautéing raw banans with bunch of spices. Mango powder adds a delicious tanginess to the dish which gives lovely flavour. Along with rotis or rice this kachche kela ki sazbi will make a delicious meal.

Ingredients for Kachche Kele Ki Sabzi -Raw Banana Sabzi

500gm raw banana (peeled and sliced)

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 pinch asaefotida

Salt to taste

1 teaspoon red Chili powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon garam masala Powder

1 tablespoon mango powder

Some chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

5 tablespoons cooking oil

How to cook Kachche Kele Ki Sabzi -Raw Banana Sabzi

Heat oil in wok, crackle cumin seeds and asaefotida when cumin seeds stop crackling add sliced bananas. Mix really well. cover the lid n cook for 10minutes on low flame or till bananas done.

Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and mango powder. Sprinkle a little water on banana sabzi. Mix gently, cover n cook for 5minutes.

Reduce heat and add coriander leaves. Mix gently. Switch off the flame.

Raw Banana Sabzi Done. Serve hot this with dal rice or chapati.
