Cabbage Manchurian/Dry Cabbage Manchurian

One of the popular street food recipes which can be served as a sides dish or as a starters. the taste resembles very similar to veg manchurian recipe, but cabbage fritters are on more crispier side. it tastes great when served with veg hot and sour soup or schezwan fried rice.

Ingredients:-

2 cups finely chopped cabbage

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger garlic

Salt as per taste

1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

2 green chillies roughly chopped

1 spring onion (diced onion n chopped leaves)

Some capsicum diced

1 teaspoon cornstarch+1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon szechwan sauce

1 tablespoon cooking oil + for deep fry

Method:-

Mix ingredients in mixing bowl ( cabbage, spring onion leaves, all purpose flour, salt and red chilli powder) make smooth mixture for Manchurian.

Heat oil n take 1 teaspoon from mixture n put it in heated oil, deep fry  till it done crisp. Transfer it to a plate.

Now keep about 1 tablespoon oil in wok.

Add ginger garlic n saute for minute on low flame.

Add onion, capsicum n green chillies saute for 3minutes on high flame.

Mix cornstarch, water, soy sauce very little salt. Mix it well.

Add this in wok n saute it till it start bubbling.

Add schezwan sauce n mix it well.

Now finally add cabbage fritters in it n keep mixing. Cook for min on high flame.
Switch off the flame n serve this hot.
