Chicken Biryani/Tricolor Chicken Biryani
Chicken Biryani
Biryani is prepared using fragrant rice, aromatic spices and chicken. It is prepared in many ways i presents to you the delicious and the easiest one.
Ingredients:-
400 gm long grain basmati Rice
500gm Chicken (cut into medium size pieces)
2 large onion finely sliced
2 large Tomatoes roughly chopped
3 green chilies roughly chopped
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
salt as per taste
1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon everest chicken masala
1 teaspoon Bluebird shahi biryani essence
1/4 teaspoon orange/kesari food color
1/4 teaspoon green food color
1/2 cup cooking oil
Whole spices:-
3 nos green cardamom
1 star arise
8 to 10 black pepper
3 nos clove
3 inch stick cinnamon
2 tezpatta
Method:-
Wash rice n soaked it for 10mins, after 10mins take it in wok n add all whole spices, 1/2 teaspoon shahi biryani essence, salt and required water, cook till rice done.
Heat oil in pressure cooker add onion n saute till color change in brown. Add ginger garlic paste n saute till u get pleasure aroma.
Add tomato, little salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and chicken masala, mix this all ingredients n cook for 3 minutes on low medium flame.
Add chicken pieces in mixture n mix well, cover the lid n cook till chicken done, cook it on low flame n keep sauteing in between.
Take 2 bowls n take 2 tablespoons cooked rice in each, add 2 tablespoons milk in each, add orange food color in 1bowl and green food color in other bowl. keep aside.
Open lid n saute chicken biryani masala if you see the masala dry so add 2 tablespoons whisk curd, no need to add water in it.
Cover chicken masala by cooked rice, cover the lid n cook it on 1 whistle.
After releasing air from pressure cooker open lid n spread coloured rice which we soaked seperate with milk.
Biryani ready to serve.
Serve chicken biryani with veg raita, boondi raita.
