Butter Chicken

This is an easy and quick recipe in my style, chicken served by people in many way. I prepared Butter Chicken in my own way
Boneless chicken cooked in tandoori masala  with butter, aromatic Indian spices and cream

The ingredients required:-

700 gm breast chicken in medium size pieces
100gm amul butter


1 tsp ginger and garlic paste 


1 teaspoon tandoori masala powder


1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder 

1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

1/2 kg tomato puree ( boiled for 2mins n peel the skin)

1 tsp red chili powder


4 green cardamom


1 mace

Salt to taste 

100 gm fresh cream (optional)


4 green chillies, sliced


1/2 tsp kasuri methi


1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

Method:-

In a mixing bowl, mix tandoori masala powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and salt
Add the raw chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Keep it in the refrigerator overnight or minimum 6 hours.

Heat half the quantity of butter in wok.
Add green cardamom n mace n saute for 30sec


Pour  tomato puree in wok and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add cumin powder and garam masala powder,  mix well. 


Add the prepared chicken, remaining butter, fresh cream, sliced green chillies and crushed fenugreek leaves. Saute for 3-4 minutes and let the chicken cook. Cook till chicken is done.

Take it in large bowl n garnish with coriander leaves

Serve hot with rice or naan.
