Prawns Koliwada
Ingredients for Prawn Koliwada Recipe
Prawns (medium) peeled and deveined 16-18
Semolina (rawa, sooji)1/2 cup
Cumin powder roasted 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons
Salt to taste
Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Yogurt 2 tablespoon
Oil for deep-frying
Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
Method:-
Make a thick batter with the semolina, roasted cumin powder, chilli powder, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, yogurt and two tablespoons of water.
Marinate the prawns in the batter for half an hour. Heat the oil in a kadai and deep-fry the prawns till crisp on the outside. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot, sprinkled with chaat masala and lemon juice.
