KEEMA BIRYANI


This flavorful and mouthwatering keema biryani, a spiced ground meat and rice dish, is about to become your new favorite meal! Keema biryani  is a one-pot dish made up of spiced ground meat, long-grain basmati rice and aromatic spices. It’s a weeknight favorite at our house as well as a dish we serve. It’s so easy to make and impressive too! Biryani has been one of my favorite dish. This keema biryani is so damn good. You are going to love it!

Ingredients :-

500gm minced mutton
500gm cooked long grain basmati rice
2 onion sliced
2 onion fried
2 tomatoes chopped
1 tblespn ginger garlic paste
5 green chillies roughly chopped
1/4 cup yogurt
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup chopped mint
Salt as per taste
2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp meat masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tblespn biryani masala powder (readymade)
1 tblespn rose water
1 tblespn kewra
15nos saffron strand
2 tblespn milk
3 tblespn clarified butter

Whole Spices :-

2 bayleaf
2 cloves
2 green cardamom
10 black pepper corns
2 inch cinnamon stick

Method Of Preparation :-

First soak saffron strands in milk. Keep aside.

Heat clarified butter in pressure cooker

Add whole spices, saute and splutter.

Add sliced onion and fry until soft.

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for minute on medium flame.

Add minced mutton, mix well and cook for 15minutes on low medium flame. In between keep sauteing.

Minced mutton will leave water so cook mutton till the water burn.

Now add tomato, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, biryani masala powder, meat masala powder, Mix all the ingredients well with cooked mutton.

Cover and cook for 5minutes on low flame.

Add  some cilantro, mint and fried onion. Remaining will use for garnishing.

Add curd and mix well.

Put rice on all over cooked mutton.

Spread rose water, Kewra, and soaked saffron on all over rice.

Garnish with remaining cilantro, mint and fried onion. Cover n cook for 10minutes on low flame. Switch off the flame. Rest until air release from pressure cooker.

Serve and garnish with some cilantro and mint leaves.
