Chinese pakoda are crisp and spiced fried vegetable fritters. It is also a famous street food from Mumbai. Cabbage is one of the main veggie which used in large quantity than other veggies. You can also call these pakoda as cabbage manchurian the difference only that we are not making any sauce or soup for this. This chinese pakoda can be paired with schezwan sauce or you can drizzle schezwan sauce on top f the pakodas.![]() |

Chinese Pakoda Recipe
Ingredients:-
1&1/2 cup Cabbage finely chopped1/2 cup Carrot chopped
1/2 cup Capsicum chopped
1/2 cup Spring Onion chopped
1&1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
2 tblespn Cornflour
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 Green Chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp Red Food Colour
1/2 tsp MSG (optional)
Salt As Required
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
Oil for frying
Method Of Preparation:-
In Mixing Bowl, Add cabbage, carrot, capsicum, spring onion, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and MSG, Mix it.Add all purpose flour and cornflour. Mix it well.
Add red food color with 4 tblespn water and make thick batter
Heat oil in kadhai, add small sized balls and deep fry for 5minutes on medium flame and after 5minutes fry for 1minute on high flake or until pakodas turn crispy and fried.
Transfer on absorbing paper to remove all oil from pakodas.
Serve this pakoda hot with schezwan sauce or hot cup of tea.
