Crispy French Fries are served hot and are generally eaten as part of lunch or dinner or as a snack, and they commonly appear on the menus of dinners, fast foods, restaurants, pubs and malls. They are usually salted and they are great to serve as an appetizer with tomato ketchup. There are so many tips and tricks to make crispy fries. After trying a lot finally I reached my goal and decide to share my experience with all of you. I tried this recipe in so many ways and always my fries came out soft. I thought to add cornflour and this one is the best idea to make fries crispy n crunchy. Ingredients:-
4 Potatoes
2-3 tblespn Cornflour
Salt to taste + 1tblespn
Oil for frying
Method:-
Peel the potatoes wash and cut into thin French fries.
Take chill water, dunk the potatoes in chill water. Wash n drain water n repeat the same process until you see the water transparent. This will help to remove starch from potatoes.
Now take water in wok, dunk the potatoes in water. Add salt and mix it. Boil it for 5minutes on low flame.
Transfer potatoes on kitchen towel or on absorbing paper. Press, pat and dry potatoes.
Take fries in bowl, add cornflour n toss well. Do not use hand or spoon to mix cornflour otherwise it will become sticky so just toss it well.
Fries are ready to fry. Heat oil in pan. Put some fries and fry fries in extremely hot oil for 5minutes on high flame until fries turn crispy.
Transfer in strainer and immediately sprinkle salt and toss well.
Serve Crispy French Fries with tomato ketchup.
