Pyaz Tamatar Ki Chatni - Onion Tomato Chatni

Pyaz tamatar ki chatni is north indian recipe which prepared on gas stove. In this recipe ingredients  used sliced onion, tomatoes, coriander and spices. I served this with dal fry- zeera rice, khichdi and paratha. 

Ingredients:-

4 large size sliced onions
4 large size chopped tomatoes
2 green chilies finely chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 cup chopped coriander leaves
5 tablespoons cooking oil

Method:-

Heat oil in deep wok saute onion till it turn pink.

Add tomato n saute till it get soft.

Add green chilies and curry leaves n mix it.

Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder n mix it well cover the lid n cook for 5min on low flame. In between keep sauteing.

Add coriander leaves n mix it well and cook for another 2minutes. Switch off the flame.

Onion tomato chutney is ready to serve.

Serve this chutney with dal rice, khichdi or paratha.
