Bread Modak 

Modak is an Indian sweet popular in Maharashtra and in many parts of India. The sweet filling on the inside of a modak consists of freshly grated coconut and jaggery while the outer soft shell is made from rice flour or wheat flour mixed with khoya/Khowa or maida flour. The modak can be fried or steamed but in this video I m sharing my most favourite modak recipe. Yes it's Bread Modak which is too good in taste and really easy to make. No one can guess that what main ingredients we use to make. It's doesn't take much time to prepare. So let's learn how to make bread modak.

Bread Modak

Ingredients:-

2cup Breadcrumbs
4 tblespn Cashewnut Powder
1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1 tblespn Clarified Butter
3 tblespn Milk

Method Of Preparation:-

In pan dry roast breadcrumbs for minute on low medium flame.



Now add desiccated coconut and cashewnut powder. Mix well and dry roast for another 2minutes. Switch off the flame.




Add powdered sugar and mix well.


When the mixture completely cool add clarified butter and milk little by little. Mix until mixture start binding.

                     



Grease modak mould, Fill the mixture in it and gently press the mixture in mould.





Demoul Modak and keep it in plate. Do prepare all modak in same way.




Bread Modak are ready to eat.
