Besan Ke Laddu 

Besan Ke Laddu is an Indian dessert usually made during festive times. Besan ke laddu made from gram flour besan roast in ghee and flavoured with powdered sugar and cardamom powder and Bind or shaped into a tight balls. You can easily make these laddu on any festival or any special occasions. It doesn't take much time to prepare.

Besan Ke Laddu 


INGREDIENTS:-


60gm clarified butter
125gm Gram flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Some Saffron strands

Method:-


In a thick heavy bottomed nonstick pan heat ghee.


Once the ghee begins to melt and extremely hot, add besan. Mix well continuously.


Make sure the ghee is combined well with besan.



Stir continuously and roast besan for atleast 15minutes on low flame and also break the lumps.



Keep stirring till the besan turns aromatic.



And also wait for besan to change colour to golden brown.



Switch off the flame and transfer the mixture into a bowl. Allow the mixture to cool completely.


When the mixture cool on room temperature, add powdered sugar and  cardamom powder.



Mix well make sure everything is combined well.


Take 2tbsp of mixture and prepare lemon size laddu.


And garnish with Saffron.



Finally, serve besan laddu or you can store in a airtight container.
